Split days 06:00-14:30 or 13:30 to 22:00 Reporting to Shift Supervisor Reporting to Shift Supervisor Job Role: To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance and extra works*emergencies in accordance with the contract and requirements. Key Accountabilities • To carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules and ad hoc requirements, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated control systems. • To undertake upgrades and modifications of the relevant systems include graphics and strategies. Which may include sourcing costs, scope of works, etc. • To survey and modify controls as required by office*room moves*relocations. • Carryout any mechanical alterations to the supply and extract ductwork, VAV set point’s etc as required to rectify draughts and air volume complaints • To survey pneumatic control faults throughout the building • Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements. • To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records*documentation associated with the control aspects of the PPM and plant. To maintain strategy and OEM manuals in relation to all of the above systems. • To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all control related reactive maintenance issues, and help desk requests. • To co-ordinate visiting specialist sub contractors associated with the control systems and PPM schedules. • To provide assistance to engineers in connection with the controls, boilers, chillers, compressors and UPS plant and associated equipment • To undertake plant room checks as per H&S Inspection Matrix. • Maintain critical stock levels and ensure specialist handheld test and plant equipment is in good order and calibrated. • To respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies as required. • To provide Controls fault diagnosis, reporting, back ups associated with the PPM or Reactive maintenance of the sit Repair of control systems associated with Heating and Ventilating Building Services (Trend, Stark, Johnson and Frenger). • Assist other trades as necessary. SECONDARY DUTIES • To attend monthly site meetings and toolbox talks as required. • To provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required. To proactively work towards the growth of the contract.
